The award was sponsored by the Pepin Heart Hospital and the Dr. Kirin Patel Research Institute. Dr.'s of Chiropractic from the area were nominated by their patients and the winner was chosen based on professional accomplishments and community action. We were honored to have been chosen by a committee who reviewed all of the nominees. Doctors from all professional categories received awards including general practice, researchers, dentists and specialists. The awards were presented at a formal dinner.
